We are a church that is WELCOMING.

-We create a warm, others-centered culture where everyone feels valued and connected, where healthy, interpersonal relationships are strengthened and modeled.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others.” Philippians 2:3-4

We are OUTWARD FOCUSED.

-We actively share our faith in meaningful ways, bringing hope and help to anyone who wants it, because lost people matter to God.

“Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:15-16

We are a church, COMMITTED TO SCRIPTURE.

-We carefully study, humbly interpret, and boldly preach God’s Word, because it is our guide, authority, and conscience in everything.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are a church that is GENEROUS.

-We are generous in service and resources to each other, to other Christian ministries, to those in need, to our families, to our neighbors, and to our co-workers.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10

We are a church that is DEVOTED TO PRAYER.

-We pray daily and fervently because we are utterly dependent on God.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

We are a church that LIVES BY FAITH.

-We are a people with vision, willing to take risky steps of faith when prompted by the Spirit to move obediently forward for God and His mission.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

We are a church that is FUN!

-We believe that doing life together includes having fun together, laughing together, eating together, and enjoying life in Christian community.

“And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10b
